Description

Institutionens verksamhet spänner över stora delar av IT-området: från telekommunikation via antenner till artificiell intelligens: från grundläggande teori via algoritmer till implementering på kisel och medicinsk system. Digital information används numera i snart sagt alla sammanhang; digital radio och TV, internet och mobiltelefoni är bara några exempel. Framtidens apparater och system kommer än mer att bygga på ett komplicerat samspel av olika sorters teknik och det är i det sammanhanget man ska se institutionens bredd.
