Description

Our research focuses on individuals with severe and long-lasting mental illness and their situation in society. The extensive restructuring of the mental health and support systems towards community-based service systems brings forth far-reaching requirements for developing new knowledge-based health and support interventions. Such efforts are needed to favour and support health and a meaningful life in society for this group of individuals and their families. We work both with quantitative and qualitative methods and projects, including intervention studies, descriptive and longitudinal projects. The research group is part of a national research centre CEPI, Centre for Evidence Based Psychosocial Interventions.
