Är du en Peter Pan? En uppsats om betydelsen av fysiska förutsättningar inom teatern.

An essay about the importance and the meaning of the physical body on the theatre stage

Author

  • Sofia Grahn

Summary, in English

In my essay, I try to explore and understand the importance of the physical body of actors. How common is “type casting”? Does actors get selected for different parts due to their looks? To investigate these questions I made interviews with actors, directors and other people who work with theater.
