Research Services

Research Services ('Forskningsservice') provide advice and application support to researchers intending to apply for funding from the European Framework Programme, American federal funding sources, or national funders that require central management of applications and accounting.

The service also manages certain (organisational) calls from governmental funding sources such as the Swedish Research Council, and provides support to different levels of university management in matters concerning research funding.

LU Innovation is the hub of innovation and commercialisation at Lund University. By supporting and developing research findings with researchers and students, LU Innovation work to bring benefit and growth to society.

The service acts as the first contact within the University for researchers and provides confidential and free advice. LU Innovation helps to develop the research idea and provide help with business consulting, patents, law and finance.

Innovationskontor Syd – increasing knowledge transfer between academia and society

Innovationskontor Syd (IKS) is a collaboration between four academic institutions in the southern region of Sweden including Lund University. The purpose is to stimulate, simplify and efficiently utilise research and knowledge from these institutions, thus spreading the benefits to society. IKS offers support such as patent and legal guidance as well as guidance to researchers, students, entrepreneurs, industry actors and investors to navigate the innovation system.
