Why did you choose Lund University? 

"I chose Lund University because it provided the exact programme I wanted to focus my Master's on and it also seemed like an incredibly international school, with students from all backgrounds. Apart from all the prestigious awards that Lund University has, the quaint town of Lund drew me in as well."

What are your first impressions of your programme? Does it meet your expectations? 

"My first impression of my programme was that this was going to be way more difficult than it was to receive my Bachelor's. At first, it was quite fast-paced but as I settled into my routine, I have gotten more comfortable with how my courses are going and I like the fact that it challenges me to become a better student. "

What have been the highlights of your first months in Lund? 

"The highlights of my first months in Lund have definitely been all the amazing people I have met so far. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind towards me – I feel like I have found the people I can rely on."

What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden? 

"I particularly like the teaching style in Sweden. Coming from the United States, I don't feel much of a difference, however, I have noticed that professors over here are much more passionate about what they teach, and it can be incredibly inspiring."

How international is your programme? 

"My programme is extremely international, at the beginning of our course the professors had mentioned to us that in our programme of around 120 students, we have around 27 countries represented."

What are you most looking forward to in your programme? 

"I am most looking forward to receiving my Master’s degree. I feel like it would be the most rewarding feeling."
