"I graduated in June 2019."
What is your current job and where is it located?
"I am currently a doctoral student at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology at Lund University. My research area is on iterative receivers, focusing on channels with intersymbol interference and group testing."
How did you find your job and how long did it take?
"I found my job the same year I graduated. I found it from an opening at the department which was related to my Master's thesis project."
What is your favourite thing about your job?
"I like the job because it gives me opportunities to explore new ideas and challenge myself."
How are you making an impact in the industry?
"With my research, I get to make some small contributions in the area of iterative receivers."
What was especially useful about the programme that you use in your everyday work?
"The programme's in-depth study of communication systems – from both theoretical and practical point of view – gives an advantage in my current work."
What do you miss most from your time at Lund University? What were the highlights of your time at Lund?
"The friends I made from various parts of the world while studying. Lund City is quite attractive for student life and I like the fact that you can reach most places of interest by walking or biking."
How international was your programme?
"My programme was very international with people from different parts of the world."
What was the focus of your thesis?
"My Master's thesis was on ‘Spatial coupling in turbo equalization’ where I focused on improving the performance of receivers for channels with intersymbol interference."

"The programme covers a wide range of areas, enabling one to smoothly work with modern communications systems, especially wireless communication. There is also a lot of job opportunities at Lund and Sweden at large."
