What year did you graduate and what is your current job?
"I graduated in 2020 and I’m currently working as an R&D Engineer at NOKIA in Finland."
What is your favourite thing about your job?
"My favourite thing is the possibility to keep learning and working with talented colleagues."
What was especially useful about the programme that you use in your everyday work?
"I frequently use the knowledge of various wireless topics like MIMO and beamforming techniques, along with programming skills like C++ and Python."
What do you miss most from your time at Lund University?
"I miss being around the friendly university environment and the city of Lund as a whole. I also miss our faculty and my friends who were really supportive throughout my tenure at LTH."
What was the focus of your thesis?
"The thesis focus was to use efficient transmission techniques for reliable communication in case of unknown wireless channels."
Why do you think prospective students should choose the Wireless programme?
"The programme at Lund University combines an intense theoretical and practical knowledge on various wireless topics. I also particularly enjoyed having the freedom to choose the courses of my interest and take exams as many times as I needed in order to learn and improve my grades. For a wireless communication enthusiast, the programme would be a great pick!"
Do you have any advice for prospective students coming to Lund?
"From a technical point of view, I would recommend having a good hold on the basics of wireless communications and would be helpful to have some programming background."
