The course 'Writing in English at University' is intended for those who wish to improve their academic writing in English. There is also a Swedish equivalent, 'Akademiskt skrivande'.

You can decide to sign up for a whole course or to access the video content of the course when it suits you. All videos are available via YouTube.

Additional writing support from the Academic Support Centre

Academic writing requires special skills. Writing an essay, paper or memorandum can be tricky, because there are certain rules that must be followed.

The Academic Support Centre offers writing and study sessions, lectures on study skills and academic writing as well as booked consultations. At the Academic Support Centre, you are met by staff with expertise in English and Swedish.

Logotype and graphic profile on student papers and degree projects

Lund University’s graphic profile only applies to activities that are organisationally part of the University. As a student, you are not to use the University’s graphic profile or templates. This means that there are no University-wide templates for student degree projects.

However, you are welcome to use the University’s logotype or your faculty’s logotype on your degree project. Download the logotype from the Image and media bank, find instructions on how to log in as a student on the front page:
