About Lund University Programme for Global Excellence
In 2025, a total of 45 exceptional researchers were recruited through the programme, strengthening Lund University’s position as a premier destination for top global talent. One candidate will be formally appointed in spring 2026.
This landmark investment—amounting to SEK 105 million—is funded through university-wide strategic allocations. Of this, SEK 75 million supports the Assistant Professors, while SEK 30 million is dedicated to the Visiting Professors.
