Author

Summary, in English

The crystal structures of the following binder phases are reviewed: monoclinic CaAl2O4 (CA); cubic Ca12Al14O33 (C(12)A(7)); cubic Ca3Al2O6 (C(3)A); orthorhombic Ca8.5NaAl6O18 (Na-substituted C(3)A); orthorhombic Ca2AlFeO5 (C(4)AF); orthorhombic Ca2Fe2O5 (C2F); and orthorhombic Ca4Al6O12(SO4) (C(4)A(3)(S) over bar). The atomic structures are illustrated by computer graphics; crystal data and references to the original literature are presented. Rod packing models have been developed for C(12)A(7) and cubic C(3)A.
