Frequency domain sensitivity shaping in pole placement control

Author

Summary, in English

In this paper the frequency domain sensitivity shaping of pole placement controllers is discussed. The sensitivity function is shaped in order to improve robustness and disturbance attenuation, and it is done with the use of controller overparametrization. A design example shows the capabilities of the method. The computation is done by a weighted least squares procedure which is suitable for adaptive control.
