Summary, in English

Abstract
This bachelor thesis describes a survey of the use of cursing in Swedish by 42 youths in high school who have Swedish as a second language. The L2 speakers have through a questionnaire answered questions about which curse words they know, how they use them, which language they prefer to curse in and who they learnt it from.
In relevant cases the group is compared with a group of similar Swedish speaking youths also consisting of 42 pupils from the same high school in a small town in the south of Scania.
The result of the survey shows that the youths primarily use traditional Swedish cursing from the religious area and to a certain degree words from the genital region and the feces word skit. The group consisting of L1 speakers shows most knowledge of the suburban code-switching with elements of swearing from different languages but this does not show much in their own production of foul language.
L2 speakers learn how to curse the informal way primarily by their Swedish speaking friends, who in their turn have been socialized into foul language in their homes already by parents and siblings.
