Summary, in English

Divorce cases in the Karlskrona Admiralty Consistory are compared to those in the City of Stockholm. The result is that the mobility in Karlskrona was as high as in Stockholm, but without tendencies to religious or social separation from the Church. A social control was hard to maintain among seamen and wives, but stronger than in the more diversified capital.
