Vägval vid utrymning - utrymningsförsök med gröna blinkande lampor vid nödutgångar

Author

Summary, in English

Unannounced evacuation experiments were performed in an office building and a cinema theatre in order to investigate if green flashing lights at emergency exit can influence exit choice, i.e., make people choose the emergency exits. Experiments were documented using standard video cameras and participants filled out a questionnaire. The results show that green flashing lights influenced exit choice in the cinema theatre. However, in the office building experiments it could not be shown that partipants were influenced by flashing lights.
