Supporting Intelligibility in a Healthcare scenario using Palcom

Author

Summary, in English

In this paper we describe a scenario for supporting healthcare at

home and identify some demands for intelligibility in this

situation. In such a system we have identified a need for flexible

adding and removing medical devices, and to support changing

functionality depending on if a nurse is present or not. We suggest

that this kind of variability can be addressed by introducing

guards in our rule based formulation. and sketch a way it can be

solved.

The scenario we describe comes from an ongoing project in

developing support
