Investigation of the Hyperfine Structure of Te 125 in the 5p^(3)6s^(5)S_(2) Level of the Te I Spectrum by Optical Double Resonance and Level Crossing Spectroscopy

Summary, in English
Using an enriched sample in a high temperature scattering cell we have determined the hyperfine structure of Te 125 in the 5 p 3 6 s 5 S 2 level of the Te I spectrum by the optical double resonance and level crossing techniques. For the magnetic dipole interaction constant a we obtain | a (5 p 3 6 s 5 S 2 Te 125 )| = 1 010.4 (1.3) MHz The spin density at the nucleus, calculated using this value, is compared with the value derived from optical data, and with the result of a self-consistent-field calculation.
