The Times Higher Education ranking follows on from the recent release of the QS World University Rankings 2016/17, in which Lund University is ranked 73rd best in the world and the number one university in Sweden.
The Times Higher Education ranking lists the top 980 universities in the world and is based on 13 different indicators across five key areas: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
With 17,000 internationally recognised universities in the world, this ranking reinforces Lund University’s place in the global top tier of higher education, among 0.5% of the world’s universities.
