Join a student nation
Joining a student nation is a great way to make new friends and enjoy student life. Whether you're new to Lund or continuing your studies, you can get involved in a nation and volunteer for different activities and roles.

Become an international mentor
As an international mentor, you can give new international students a warm welcome, just as you probably experienced yourself when you came to Lund. By taking an active role during Arrival Day, the Orientation Weeks and their first semester, you can help them adjust to a new environment and student life. Of course, Swedish students are also encouraged to apply!
Become a student ambassador on Unibuddy
As a Lund University Student Ambassador, you'll have the opportunity to connect with prospective students by answering their questions through the Unibuddy platform and sharing your own unique experiences of life at Lund. You will also play an important role in student recruitment efforts by writing blogs and participating in other activities, such as live chats, webinars, video projects, etc.
Become a leader for SI sessions
If you enjoy leading and working in groups, have a pedagogical mind and want to earn some extra money, apply to become an SI session leader. You will help a group of students from a specific course to study relevant course material.

Become a study support mentor
Become a study support mentor to help a fellow student with a disability, earn some extra money, and develop new skills. Note that a Swedish personal identity number is required for this role.
Become a note-taker
As a note-taker, you will take lecture and seminar notes for one or more students who have been approved for learning support. You will be paid a fee. Note that a Swedish personal identity number is required for this role.
Become a student health and safety representative
If you are interested in contributing to a good and safe study environment at your department, in your programme or in your course, you can apply to become a student health and safety representative. The role focuses on both the physical and the psychosocial study environment.
