What do you think of your programme so far? Does it meet your expectations? 

"Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my programme. It's been intellectually stimulating, and I've had the chance to engage in hands-on public health research and projects that complement the theoretical learning." 

What is the best thing about your programme? 

"The best thing about my programme is the collaborative nature, which includes guests and regular professors from different backgrounds. They're not only knowledgeable but also supportive of students' academic and career goals, providing valuable guidance and mentorship."

What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden? 

"I appreciate the teaching style in Sweden, which encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and independent study. The emphasis on active participation in seminars and group projects a deeper understanding of the subject matter."

How international is your programme? 

"My programme is incredibly international, with students from various countries bringing diverse perspectives to the classroom. It's been enriching to learn alongside classmates from different cultural backgrounds, and it enhances the overall learning experience."

Have you been able to gain any practical experience during your studies? 

"Certainly! I've had the chance to participate in seminars and symposiums during my studies. These opportunities have provided valuable practical experience and networking opportunities, allowing me to apply what I've learned in the classroom to real-world contexts."

"Being an international student at Lund University is an incredible experience. I've been warmly welcomed into a diverse community, made friends from around the world, and had the chance to immerse myself in Swedish culture while exploring Europe." 

What do you do in your spare time? 

"In my spare time, I enjoy participating in student clubs and activities, exploring Lund and its surroundings, engaging in outdoor adventures, attending cultural events, and watching football matches of Malmö FC. It's a great way to unwind and make the most of my time here." 

What have been the highlights of your first year in Lund? 

"Having a guest lecture on pandemic preparedness by state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell, the architect of the Swedish COVID-19 strategy, was an enlightening and impactful experience. Hearing directly from such a prominent figure provided invaluable insights into public health decision-making and the challenges of managing a global health crisis. It was a highlight of my first year in Lund University that I'll always remember."

"My advice for students considering coming to Lund is to embrace the opportunity fully. Be proactive in seeking out academic and extracurricular activities that interest you, step out of your comfort zone to meet new people and explore new cultures, and make the most of every moment in this vibrant university town."
